Well, luckily, he doesn't even really seem aware of what's going on at this point. Stabbing various parts of his body and hacking away at this finger caused him to barely move. But by the looks of his body, the bruising, stabs and cuts, they' d been poking fun at him for a while before he got to that shocked state that we see. |

Actually that is incorrect. 1. If they are from Assad's regime, they aren't Muslim. 2. It is forbidden to mutilate people like that in Islam. Yes, you can fight in wars to protect yourself, but not do any kind of sadistic stuff. You can't even mutilate a dead body.
