Ok, people on here are saying this video is one of most brutal they've ever seen. Really? The dude was already 3/4 dead anyway and barely moved. And the puncture quality is crap, as is the camera work. Did I miss something?

No, it's because he's unconscious through most of it and close to death. The video title is misleading, imo.
It seems to me the victim is dissociating as a reaction to the trauma, he's probably actually feeling little to none of this.

Actually that is incorrect. 1. If they are from Assad's regime, they aren't Muslim. 2. It is forbidden to mutilate people like that in Islam. Yes, you can fight in wars to protect yourself, but not do any kind of sadistic stuff. You can't even mutilate a dead body.
They are lower than dirt. Very dishonorable conduct. It’s disgusting what they have done.
And we all know, this isn’t the only time they’ve done that to someone…
They should be caged. Keep them all together in THEIR country!!!

ISLAM IS A CANCER TO THE PLANET. LET THEM KEEP KILLING EACH OTHER. MAYBE EVENTUALLY THEY'LL ALL BE FUCKIN DEAD.
Sadly, that's just wishful thinking, nothing that propagates in a geometric progression like life or religious beliefs can be so easily eliminated.
