Re: Speeding Cop Kills 2 Teens
Ugh, I remember seeing this vid on Youtube when I was busy looking for car crash vids...this shit always pisses me off because someone I knew was killed in the same manner. She had the right of way, and was turning, when this police cruiser, who wasn't responding to a call, comes blaring down, going three times the posted speed limit...she died instantly. The cop was taken off of the force and charged with manslaughter, which I think was the right thing to do. However, it pains me to think that no only did I looses a friend, but the cop's life has also been ruined as well. Cops have a responsibility to uphold safety and justice, and when they kill an innocent, it is something just too unbearable to live with. I can't imagine how they go about their lives knowing that they killed someone, let alone two kids in this case.

Re: Speeding Cop Kills 2 Teens
Small-town cops pretty much run the show, they do whatever they want and get away with it. Where I grewup near Pittsburgh my coke-head friend became a part-time cop getting paid min wage for another town. He would tell us stories of taking drugs from other ppl all the time that he pulled over. He got pulled over drunk in Pittsburgh, the cop found out he was a cop as well and told him to get the hell out of his city - letting him continue to drive home drunk. The nicest cop I ever met was an Ohio State cop, he was actually the only cop I ever met that was nice in the US. Since moving to Canada, the police I run into here are nice and professional - so far. Back the topic of PA cops, avoid State and local cops if you can - total assholes with ego issues. |
