Wants acquittal Former Milford police officer Jason Anderson doesn’t want a new trial for his role in the deaths of Orange residents, Ashlie Krakowski, and David Servin, both 19. He wants a straight acquittal and he’s asking the State Supreme Court to review his case, the New Haven Register reports. The State Appellate Court in June granted Anderson a new trial, but that’s not enough for the former cop, who now wants an acquittal entered into the record, the Register reports. The process for review could take a full year, the paper reports. In 2012, a jury sentenced Anderson to five years in prison for his role in the deaths of Krakowski, and Servin. Three years later, Anderson remains free on $50,000 bond. The appellate court ruled that Anderson didn’t receive a fair trial concerning instructions given to the jury by the judge at the time, which was first reported by the New Haven Register Monday afternoon. http://patch.com/connecticut/milford...t-acquit-him-0 |

If you watch the video carefully, while it was completely unnecessary for the cop to be speeding like that, the teens where in the wrong for turning on a cautionary signal into oncoming traffic. Still doesn't make it right however, but maybe they would still be alive if they had paid more attention in drivers Ed. Sorry if that makes people angry but that's just my opinion.

The driver was apparently drinking and had weed on him, it may have affected his judgement of how fast the cop was going. But it still doesn't excuse the cop for going 90+mph, racing with his cop buddy.

His girlfriend had called him a few minutes before the crash and told him that he had to be at her house in five minutes or less if he wanted to fuck her.
