The reason of death might say smoke inhalation or other things, but the crush at the exit increased the number of dead due to not being able to exit.

The reason why 100 people died was because of the fire, reason why there was a stampede, also because of the fire. No fire = no stampede or deaths. It's called the station nightclub fire disaster, not the station nightclub stampede disaster.
