I can't believe I just read 8 pages of people thinking they're the first person to post some combination of "wow she might've lived if she hadn't tried to deploy the reserve" and "why did she wait so long what a dumbass!!111"

or maybe he was thinking the first should have done that, saving him the expense of the other 5 jumps. a case of if at first he dont suceed, try and try again.  |

back in our kiting days with something similar to a chute, a too long cord on the structure or a cut one, that lets air inside slide off that direction will make a kite spin that way. only way to fix is get it down and fix the loose string. cant do that to a human in a parachute though.
