Highway 373. A band my good friend was in, Dan Shorrock, was an Indian band from a reserve in northern Manitoba. He was a pacifist had a couple kids with a reserve women and was beaten to death with a 2x4 on the reserve by her 16 year old cousin because the kids were being abused by her and he wanted to take them from this awful environment they were in. He told me this himself before his last tour with the band. No murder conviction.

Reserve Indians were not allowed in Winnipeg without an off reserve permit until the laws made it so in 1969. Pre 69 the North End of Winnipeg was an ethnic melting pot of many races that evacuated the area after 69 allowed an influx of Indians to take over the North End and it's Main street of continuous bars that became theirs and off limits to whites by 1974. The North End is a cesspool of ugliness today with daily violence applied by them to whoever is within reach of their weapons. Sceptical? Look up Winnipegs 10 most wanted which is updated bi-weekly and look at the faces of those who are always in trouble and wanted.... Indians. I could go on and on about mine and friends of mine who's experiences with Abiunoriginals never ended well. They aren't all bad.... just 99% are!

American Indians are civilized compared to Canadian ones. In Canada they build a grocery store or arena or youth center or some other building to improve the reserve and its burnt to the ground in short time. Given money to maintain or upgrade water treatment facilities and they take their families on cruises with the money instead and piss the "free" money away. Middle class call them Blindians today as most are gangsta rapper wannabes that only attack in groups. Downtown Winnipeg is a no go area after dark as it becomes an urban reserve rife with unsavory types of the native persuasion. This rant is just an ice cubes worth of the iceberg of shit which is Canadas Indian problem that our liberal governments been bowing down to and appeasing their every want with tax money! By Indian, he is referring to a somewhat less used synonym for the Indigenous people of Canada. It has zero relation to the country India. Either way, it is rarely used to describe these people outside of official Canadian legislation such as the "Indian Act", as it is viewed as a term from a previous era. Indigenous Canadians is the more accepted term now.
