Municipal Worker Was Fatally Electrocuted Whilst Installing Metal Pole
In Montecristi, Manabí province, Ecuador, five people were electrocuted whilst attempting to install a metal pole in a public space, where a security camera was to be placed. Based on videos taken by residents, it did not appear that the workers were wearing any kind of protection for this job. All five were taken to hospital, but 34-year-old Luis R.B.D. was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. 23-year-old Yandry G. suffered severe injuries, whilst the three others suffered minor injuries. |

Obviously the underground conduit work they were doing on that light pole was on a hot circuit, but they didn't get the memo  |
