3 dead after scaffolding collapse at E. Morehead Street construction site.
Two others suffered minor injuries and were taken to Atrium Clinic CMC Main Street for treatment.

Looks like some kind of custom built piece of junk made of cheap planks. Proper construction scaffolding looks almost like a metal cage with multiple levels and even stairs. The floor pieces tend to have grating and holes so that they don't get slippery. If it was a badly assembled proper scaffolding, then there should be metal rods and platings scattered everywhere. All I see is thin wooden planks.
