there are almost countless possible modes of executing a human. they all vary in the level of pain and terror that the victim endures. writhing around on a street and receiving random blows from a sword wielding thug without trial is hardly comparable to relaxing in a quiet room on a gurney and receiving, from a medical doctor, a massive dose of opiates followed by some other chemicals which arrest the circulatory/respiratory system, after 20+ years of review and contemplation of your case from a panel(s) of various experts.

Horseshit. There is no humane way to kill a living being that does not want to fucking die. Period. Once you make the decision to end another human life, everything past that point is just a varying degree of rationalization to assuage your own guilt.

You can pretend that 'relaxing in a quiet room' while being murdered against your will is somehow morally superior to what is happening in this video, but I fucking assure you...when it is you strapped to that goddam gurney, it's all the same. When you do not want to die, having your life taken from you by force is a terrifying, painful, horrific experience-regardless of what tools your murderer is using.

And I am not necessarily making a statement about capital punishment in general here, other than to piss on the leg of anyone so deluded and hypocritical as to believe that this video is any different from what we do in the US when it comes right down to it.
