Re: Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
It was in fact a combination of factors, in accordance with the laws of physics, as the car was getting into the turn a centrifugal force was generated and it resulted in a force that was going in the opposite direction to the motorcyclist, which made it a little heavier than if the car was at rest. Still, the speed and weight of the motorcycle was enough to lift into the air the side of the car that was hit, it resulted in a "left side" wheelie that the female driver was unable to stabilize and she probably turned of the wheel faster than needed and it caused the car to flip over. |

Re: Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
Typical female driver "skills", she failed to look if a vehicle was coming in her direction before turning. Motorcyclist was in her line of sight at least 35 to 40 yards away, judging by the amount of cars that would fit between her car and the motorcycle just before she went into the turn and she didn't see him coming! Definitely she was at fault. |

Re: Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
~ One of those coincidents where the car driver underestimates the time it takes to make a rush maneuver but decides to shoddingly speed thru it, & then there's the speedy motorcyclist who underestimates the time a sudden car maneuver will take to pass thru, so the motorcyclist doesn't slow down & instead veers off, into the car. ~ It was the GMC driver's fault anyway. ![]() |

Re: Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
crossing white line to make an illegal left turn and a biker in the fast lane on a dark bike, wearing dark clothes and no light on means tragedy in Russia and probably everywhere else too.
