Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
"In Moscow, on Veshnyakovskaya Street, a 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed. The driver of the GMC car, when making a U-turn in an unidentified place, collided with a motorcycle driver moving in a forward opposite direction. The driver of the car escaped with minor injuries and refused hospitalization." |

Re: Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
That looked more like some kind of medical episode (or equipment failure) than an intentional U-turn. With the angle she took the turn, she never would have ended up in any of the lanes on the opposite side of the road. She was heading straight for a light pole. I guess the authorities may know better. |

Re: Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
She looked to me as trying to enter the parking lot through the small entrance off the main road, which is exactly where she ended up after getting hit by the motorcycle. Possible "Oh shit that's my turn!" last-second banzai maneuver. As usual with the area, motorcyclist going too fast, no possibility of evasive action. |

Re: Russia - Biker Meets Car 2
How did the car flip over? Turn combined with force of impact I suppose

If you look very carefully I think you can see the person from the bike is stuck to the side of the vehicle as it rolls over and it looks like it lands on him. Watch it in slo-mo |
