Re: Robber Shot Point Blank
Silly rabbit, education and guns rarely make great bed fellows. I am not advocating any NEW ban on gun ownership, but I challenge you to show me a correlation between educated people and the ownership of guns. I think they are most likely negatively proportional, but that's just coming from somebody who is narrow-minded and educated. I choose to fight with my intellect rather than some metallic symbol of power. When shit hits the fan, I'll fall back on my guns. I also challenge you to cite some sources of your "well documented" claims that gun ownership is directly proportional to a decrease in crime. Please do, and maybe you can dispel the bullshit once and for all. You see, when you read something on the Internet(s - as W. would call it), it is not always true. Email requires the same level of scrutiny. When an Egyptian "Prince" wants to give you money if you'll pay him up front, it is obviously a scam. However, when you get an email that says that Obama is the AntiChrist, or a Muslim, or not a citizen, or he wants to take/tax your guns somehow that makes sense to you, even though there are very well educated lawyers working for your party and its interests that are paying no attention to such unfounded claims. Obama is not taking anybody's guns away; use factcheck.org or countless other sites if you want to be informed. Don't just believe a chain email message because it says what you want to hear. Be informed, be educated, be enlightened, just don't be an uninformed, tool of an evil plot because it is easier to live that way. Think of your kids and those less fortunate than yourself. Think like Jesus would have you think, if you believe in him.

Re: Robber Shot Point Blank
I hate to quote this entire shit-stain of a comment, but I will to get my point across. Source is the FBI: ![]() The following shows the number of firearms sold domestically in the U.S., not including imports or private sales. Source is the ATF: ![]() As you can clearly see, the rate of violent crimes decreased, while the rate of firearms sales has increased substantially, especially from 2007 to 2008. while 2009 is less than 2008, and 2010 is less than 2009, they are still marked increases over the sales in 2007. It's valid to consider this as an increase in the weaponization of the United States as this chart counts only new sales from licensed gun dealers, and it would be ludicrous to assume that the same number of new guns sold is less than the number of American sold guns in previous years that made it out of the country. |

Re: Robber Shot Point Blank
Most concealed ,if not all concealed carry laws in the 50 states forbid carrying of a firearm into a bank, school, or federal building. Just the places you need them most..HEH
