I dont think his religion had anything to do with killing the robber. His is using his his spirituality to help himself deal with the trauma of killing another human being. It is obvious he didn't want to take someone's life. He simply didn't want to stand by while the robber took other innocent lives. And if hearing his religious beliefs is the cost of taking this shitbag off the street, then I think that cost is acceptable. And that does not make me ashamed to be American one bit. Now Obama on the other hand makes me ashamed. Actually humiliated.

So many people have this delusional mindset. They don't want peace. They want problems, so they can go out and be heroes. If there weren't criminals to shoot at, they'd be bored, and start shooting at non-criminals like marijuana smokers.
I'd prefer to live in a place where less people feel the need to commit crimes and everyone has food to eat and a bed to sleep in and a cottage to vacation at.

I can't speak for Oswald, but this seems a nonsensical argument. First off, neither Oswald or any of the rest of us have anything to do with the choices people make and that's what this guy did and it cost him his life. Are some people disadvantaged and commit crimes because of it? Sure. Do they all engage in armed robbery? No...but if those who do meet their fate looking into the barrel of a gun I'm not likely to shed a single fucking tear.

Yes, of course it would be better of less people to commit robbery, in a perfect world we'd all have a million dollar home, careers we love and all the food we'd ever want but last time I looked, this world is anything but perfect and will never be. That's not Oswald's fault, and applauding the killing of one more robber isn't gonna change it for better or worse...
