The DR is fukkk uuup. But the average worker does make more than $555 US dollars a year. No bullshit. Just the facts. I owned several companies in the DR. My workers earned in average $800 a month. Left the country due to corruption. My business also suffer from Turkish competition in the US. The problem in the DR is the people. They always try to screw their own. Just like many other countries.

That happens in all countries, even here in America, just ask any war veteran.

Especially Vietnam veterans, you can't be more screwed than that.

In America is way better than any other country I have visited or lived. Perfect example are some of the jobs and skills people can acquire while in the service. Many ex military become police with hardly any training and no skills. In the DR, there is no respect for the less fortunate. If you are white, they suck youurrr dikkkk always. No hate for the DR. It just makes me sad how terrible they tread each other or Haitians. Video is a perfect example. Police are the worst criminals in the country, they pretend to have a moral stand higher the all the poor suckers in the world. Do your self a favor, do not visit the DR. It is not safe. Hotels sell fake liquor that can kill you, and every idiot working in the tourist industry see you as a potential sucker and easy target. A drug up bus driver, not long ago, killed many tourists. He only did a year for killing and severely injuring many others.
