Robber Was Shot Dead After Raiding Shop in Dominican Republic
In San José de las Matas, Santiago province, Dominican Republic, three criminals raided a grocery store, and managed to steal 1,592,530 Dominican pesos (~USD$21,300), as well as an undetermined amount of US dollars. They also managed to steal a policeman's regulation firearm. However, whilst the robbers attempted to flee, the store owner came out with his gun, and managed to take down one of the robbers - Yeudy L.A., also known as 'Jol'. He had a criminal record for stealing 100,000 pesos (~USD$1340), $7,000, and a firearm in 2022, and for possession of a firearm in 2023. Later on, police came across another one of the robbers, Jonathan J.F., in the Yerba Buena sector. In the resultant shootout, Jonathan was shot dead (photo 2). He had a criminal record for stealing jewellery and cash in 2009. |

Re: Robber Was Shot Dead After Raiding Shop in Dominican Republic
That country truly is hell. The stupid cops were just talking some much shit. It is sad to see a public serving having such a low disrespect for life. Do you self a favor, never go vacationing there. It is not worth it anymore. Bad service and bad police.
