Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

Glock is really pretty irrelevant to stopping power, it's the bullet that determines that...

Based on the shots fired, most likely a 9mm unless he reloaded (doubtful).

Also, from the blocky "heavy" look of the gun, I would say it's more likely a cheaper weapon. Hi-point, maybe?
100% Glock, the sights alone are a dead giveaway...

I read a report that it was 40 cal but who knows if accurate this early on...

Make up your own mind but Mike here has shared a perspective on this worth reading, even if you don't agree, at least read what he puts forth before deciding what you want to think.

"Virginia journalist shooting False Flag Hoax."

If you were trying to ban guns why not do something really crazy with a lot of people and a lot of guns? Why have one guy kill two people? People die every day from gun violence..what makes this exceptional for the gun control agenda beside the news coverage?

i actually wished he lived so that during his prison time he would have eventually seen what a rotten human being he is

It's America and he has the right to express his opinion. I also have the right to express mine - he's completely wrong and showing himself to be rather unstable. It's people like that who often need to be watched because they blow up, just like the shooter here. Guns are made for only one purpose: death. They need to be brought under control. Churches, community centers, mental health facilities and families need to help their loved ones learn to turn from violence. The two things together will make this world a better place. The Creator wants us to turn our swords into plowshares, not take up arms to kill each other.
God is the answer. Religion only brings peace and has never caused violence or deaths. Bring God back to America!

Except it wasn't just some douchebag who shot someone in a convenience store, or a guy shooting his girlfriend. It happened live, on air, in a small community, viewed by thousands as it happened, with an up-and-coming very talented reporter with a bright future, and a cameraman (videographer) who had just gotten engaged and was locally known, both of whom were locally famous and beloved.

So if you could convince one person to kill people to push the gun control agenda...why not send them to Disneyland? A football game? I think that'd shake people up more than killing two people who hardly anyone knew about before today.

Edit: Sorry I forgot Disneyland banned guns from entering so there's no way it could happen there.

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

I don't try to tell people what to think or how to think, I just encourage them to think with all possibilities taken into consideration along with all facts that can be found. I am known to contribute possibility from perspectives I find and share facts I come across but what to think and how to think, I do not.

What do I think about all this in this situation? I don't. It's too soon and too little information and facts are to be had. Plus I don't just make up my mind in a mere matter of minutes or hours. Even when I do, I am open to change it if I see I should.

Now I am reading one person saying, "Her boyfriends first tweet about her death 6:34 am..before this 'shooting' happened." Is this true? I don't know. It would be nice to see a screen shot if it is. Until then, like all the perspectives on this, I'll remain open and skeptical.

“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.” (Marcus Aurelius)

The following words are from a group I am a in:

"It's a fact—everyone is ignorant in some way or another.

Ignorance is our deepest secret.

And it is one of the scariest things out there, because those of us who are most ignorant are also the ones who often don't know it or don't want to admit it.

Here is a quick test:

If you have never changed your mind about some fundamental tenet of your belief, if you have never questioned the basics, and if you have no wish to do so, then you are likely ignorant.

Before it is too late, go out there and find someone who, in your opinion, believes, assumes, or considers certain things very strongly and very differently from you, and just have a basic honest conversation.

It will do both of you good."

Thanks for sharing with us what YOU would do if you ever decided to do something crazy like that. ;)
