Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

Wow, like others here this one really got my heart thumping. It's not only the cold, enraged "bitch" he whispers at 0:18, it's the way he shows the gun but then backs off and waits for the camera to be on her again before shooting. So cold and evil.

I wish he'd lived if only he could be sentenced to death for it.

Btw, the hoax crap is ridiculous. Literally the same day we've got people saying this is all some sort of political conspiracy to either ban guns or influence the presidential election? Give me a break.

On that "Mike" guy's page, he even says the hand of the shooter is white. Clearly he doesn't know that A) the shooter was light skinned, and B) lighting can very easily have an effect on skin tone, such as the Jeb Bush hand recently.

The whole world seems mad sometimes.

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

Except it wasn't just some douchebag who shot someone in a convenience store, or a guy shooting his girlfriend. It happened live, on air, in a small community, viewed by thousands as it happened, with an up-and-coming very talented reporter with a bright future, and a cameraman (videographer) who had just gotten engaged and was locally known, both of whom were locally famous and beloved.
Yeah, in a state LOADED with Federal law enforcement and very strict gun control, yup, SAFE as can be...

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

I don't try to tell people what to think or how to think, I just encourage them to think with all possibilities taken into consideration along with all facts that can be found. I am known to contribute possibility from perspectives I find and share facts I come across but what to think and how to think, I do not.

What do I think about all this in this situation? I don't. It's too soon and too little information and facts are to be had. Plus I don't just make up my mind in a mere matter of minutes or hours. Even when I do, I am open to change it if I see I should.

Now I am reading one person saying, "Her boyfriends first tweet about her death 6:34 am..before this 'shooting' happened." Is this true? I don't know. It would be nice to see a screen shot if it is. Until then, like all the perspectives on this, I'll remain open and skeptical.

“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.” (Marcus Aurelius)

The following words are from a group I am a in:

"It's a fact—everyone is ignorant in some way or another.

Ignorance is our deepest secret.

And it is one of the scariest things out there, because those of us who are most ignorant are also the ones who often don't know it or don't want to admit it.

Here is a quick test:

If you have never changed your mind about some fundamental tenet of your belief, if you have never questioned the basics, and if you have no wish to do so, then you are likely ignorant.

Before it is too late, go out there and find someone who, in your opinion, believes, assumes, or considers certain things very strongly and very differently from you, and just have a basic honest conversation.

It will do both of you good."
~Vera Nazarian
If this was a 9/11 thing all over again, your post would make sense. One guy shot two people. None of them were powerful, famous or connected to anything. Bad things happen every day. Kind of ironic you mention ignorance several times... Some things just need to be accepted as fact. Bad things happen in life, not everything is done for an agenda even if it is used to push an agenda.

I like to think that if people take the time to educate themselves then it can help prevent paranoid thinking. Yes, there are many conspiracies in this world, some involving governments, but to take it to the point where every single event is considered orchestrated and hoaxed is indeed a sign of paranoia. So, I can't agree with the thoughts of the guy. I have been following this story all day long because I was up when it happened. Alison Parker's boyfriend is anchor Chris Hurst and I kept looking at his Facebook page, as well as the station's page to see when they'd update. I can personally state that as a news junkie lurking on Chris' Facebook page he DID NOT post anything about the shooting until about three hours after it happened.

Why funny that use a quote that contains thought on ignorance? Are you claiming something I said was wrong and are you claiming I made a claim that I did not make?

I clearly stated,

How does my post have anything to do with 9/11? Did you actually read what I wrote? I made myself very clear, clear enough so even people who want to twist my words would have a difficult task.

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

If you are accusing me of being Mike, no, I am not Mike. If you want my name, I'll gladly give it. As for why I posted about Mike, I guess my words were not read. I'll share a portion of them AGAIN:

"I don't try to tell people what to think or how to think, I just encourage them to think with all possibilities taken into consideration along with all facts that can be found. I am known to contribute possibility from perspectives I find and share facts I come across but what to think and how to think, I do not."

[ ... ]

"...like all the perspectives on this, I'll remain open and skeptical. "

But it seems many have already made up their minds. That's their choice. But because I don't and haven't did that, it would be appreciated if no one accused me of what they are doing, especially after I have made myself VERY CLEAR. On the first comment and that follow up comment. Even that initial comment started off saying, "Make up your own mind..."

Most conspiracists are as dumb as a bag of bricks, there is no point trying to reason with them. Believe me, I've tried.

You're clearly going in a direction.

You say you aren't thinking on this situation. Then you a post a link about how this is a false flag. I see the direction.

You claim you are known to post from other perspectives. My understanding from this is, there are facts and there are "other perspectives". We continue in that same direction..

I said IF THIS WAS 9/11. I did not say your post has anything to do with 9/11. To answer your question back- Did you actually read what I wrote?
