Obviously a fake. If you watch the entire video, she shoots herself in the head a total of six times. I'm not a genius but I'm pretty sure she would have died or at least passed out after the third attempt.

Someone's put together a series of stills along with other pictures from the studio which are worth looking at. The one I've included below appears to show her hair blowing out after she pulls the trigger (note the shadow).  |

Look at the way the lighting falls between the reading rests on the top picture (which we know to truly represent the actual studio) and the suicide footage still. To recreate that so precisely would be very difficult unless reusing the actual studio setup.   |

I grew up in Tampa and was a boy when this happened. We were watching Channel 44 not Channel 40 when this happened. THANK YOU FOR POSTING the HOLY GRAIL of video death. I have wanted to see this for 43 years.
