Intense. My mate was was in Bosnia in a Scimitar AFV. Think at that time he was the gunner. He said at the end of the day you'd park up in a line, a few hundred yards from the other Scimitars. All British Army armoured vehicles have a boiling vessel for making hot drinks (good for morale) and one of his fondest memories is sitting there with a 30mm cannon with his mates, drinking an Irish coffee and watching the sun set over the landscape.

I'm more impressed by the fact that the pole didn't snap off with that impact, than the sniper shot. |
