I don't rightly know it for a fact, of course. It was more a connotation of "for all we know..." as I've read that a lot of sexual deviants have some history of childhood abuse. Point is, while what he did was supremely evil, he didn't just decide to be evil for the hell of it, and trying to figure out why this stuff happens is a more likely way to prevent it (if it can even be prevented).

Yeah, that's usually the case for most pedos/chomos. But some people do in fact decide to be evil just for the hell of it. It starts as compulsion, but after that some people stop fighting it and decide to embrace it. Ex.: Jeffrey Dahmer.

You people are all fucked up. You can't cherry-pick which murderers are justified and which are not. Murder is illegal unless self-defence. Full stop. It wasn't up to him to take that arsehole's life; it was up to the justice system, for better or for worse...Furthermore, death penalty is a bit severe considering the boy was not harmed beyond the rape. While clearly atrocious and unacceptable, the father's behaviour is no better.

You forget that there's a difference between "legal" and "justified." The law isn't about what's true or just; it's about what you can prove.

And the relevant court itself decided that the father's behavior was indeed better than Doucet's. That much is evident in the relatively light sentence it handed down following his conviction in the shooting.

So it would seem that the court would agree with us. Does that mean the court is as fucked up as you accuse us of being?
