You do make very valid points. The main issue with attempting to figure it out is not being able to clearly see what type of weapon it is ie revolver or semiauto

On second look, it appears to be a semiauto, not revolver. I am pretty sure I see the ejection port outline when it goes sideways and it looks like a semiauto silhouette to me.

The assassin could have walked past and behind him and shot him in the head from a few inches, less drama and less likelihood the victim could react. Maybe it was someone who really hated the victim and wanted to make it more personal, kind of like the difference between impersonal doggy style fucking from behind and missionary position where you face your partner.

Did anyone see what appears to be an accomplice…watch the guy in the street wearing a mask who runs to the same location as the shooter. He’s not running for cover, he’s getting away with shooter!
