Police Officer Working Security Assassinated in Front of Club
A police officer working security detail at a bar was shot and killed this past Monday morning around 2:40 am local time. J.D.D.V.G, age 41, was working security at "Le Conteiner" in Tijuana. At some point inside the bar there was some type of altercation in which three men were removed and told to leave the premises. Later on they returned asking for re-entry, and when denied, one of the men ran up and shot 'J' three times. He died on the spot. It's being investigated on why he did not wear the bullet proof vest that is required while working there as security, as all three bullets hit him in the chest. Apart from 'J', a 22 year old woman was also wounded. 'J' joined the police force in 2014. His services were held at La Esperanza Funeral Home and was laid to rest at the Panteon Santa Gema. |
