Police Officer Was Fatally Shot in the Head After Suspect Seized His Weapon
Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Espírito Santo, Brazil A 28-year-old Military Police officer, Paulo H.C.F., was shot in the head and killed after a 25-year-old suspect, Luan d.O.C., seized his weapon during a police approach at a bar. Luan was a prison fugitive with an outstanding arrest warrant and still owed three years and 10 months on a previous sentence. After Luan shot Paulo, Paulo's colleague shot Luan dead (second pic). Residents helped load Paulo into a police vehicle, but on the way to the hospital, a tyre blew out, prompting a transfer into another vehicle. When he arrived at hospital, he was pronounced dead. |
