Re: Peru: Kidnapped Miners Executed Inside Mineshaft
I never understood why people just sit there waiting to be murdered. I'd go out fighting at least.

Re: Peru: Kidnapped Miners Executed Inside Mineshaft
I always love when fools discuss guns when they have; 1. No understanding of guns 2. No understanding of physics. If you push the barrel into a squishy thing and pull the trigger, you are essentially suppressing the weapon with the thing you're killing. Same concept as shooting through a pillow. The pressure wave is contained within the object being fired into/through. Some sound will escape from those rifles because they likely have a muzzle device to reduce felt recoil, but a solid majority of the expanding gas will be sent into the body and released over a much longer (relatively) period of time, thus reducing the noise. It was exactly the same with that CEO killer guy, everybody was up in their going "hurr durr he use B&T spy gun, look!" While not even knowing what a glock looks like or how to watch for the signs of a basic ass malfunction. The best part is when those people simply flit off into the void afterwards and never learn a fucking lesson. At least if I'm wrong, I'll come back and admit it if i notice. Damn, I have a massive caffiene withdrawal headache RN. |

Re: Peru: Kidnapped Miners Executed Inside Mineshaft
Illegal mining is rife in Peru. These poor buggers were with a company with permission to mine and had been held hostage by the illegals. The reason for the killings is unclear but presumably the company refused payment or terms.
