Well he had more than 1300 jumps. He had at least 7 "Jumps" making those 7 kids. Any fool that leaves a perfectly serviceable plane other than via the steps, is a moron.  |

That is what we call "hooking it in". With that style of wing shaped 'ram air' canopy you are doing as much as 50mph forward speed and it basically flies like an airplane wing. Any sharp turns or other maneuvers bleed off loads of air support, and you drop like a stone. They are crazy fast, and can be incredible fun, but also deadly dangerous near the ground. |
