Why would bashing someone work? The muscle contractions are non voluntary, so even if the victim is rendered unconscious this will not cause them to relax. Also, I don't think that "bashing" him will prod the victim's body away from the current source.[/QUOTE] My brother got his finger caught in a light socket when he was like 10 yrs old and I jump kicked him with both feet like Haggar in Final Fight and it worked.   |

It looks to me like they're almost massaging or pressing down on the guy's limbs. Maybe his muscles were still contracting and they were trying to help relax them? He does look frozen in a position with his arm up like that... until the other dudes do their leg work and he starts moving his limbs again.
