Re: Opposite Of Death

If he had saved my life that way I would have become his slave for life. Great

Re: Opposite Of Death

No death so its not supposed to be in death video section. I guess its time to add a new section. I suggest "Amazing feats of Ordinary People and animals"

Re: Opposite Of Death

"As in the case here, using a non-conductive tool also works...and I wish I could find the video now, but bashing someone with a 2X4 also works".
Why would bashing someone work? The muscle contractions are non voluntary, so even if the victim is rendered unconscious this will not cause them to relax. Also, I don't think that "bashing" him will prod the victim's body away from the current source.[/QUOTE]

You misunderstood how the 2X4 would be used. You don't use it to knock them out, you use it as a non-conductive object to break the victim's contact with the electrified object.

This could be done by striking the arms, using it to push the victim away from the current, or even just striking the torso (although that would cause obvious injuries).

Basically, what the individual did here, was apply enough force to break the victim's grip. He used fabric, but literally any non-conductive object of sufficient size and durability could work.

There are even examples of people full-on tackling the victim to accomplish this, but that tactic runs the risk of creating another victim if the impact lacks the force break contact.

Re: Opposite Of Death

I Agree. Dry wood is used to pry off the victim from the source of electricity. any DRY non conductive material can be used for that purpose.

Not to bash and cause more damage to the victim
