And then youd have to ask yourself why would the tanker blow up, if it was intentional why not fill that tanker up first for the most damage?

It kind of looks like the blast may have come from that dark red color car near the middle of the screen. Propane tank from that vehicle maybe?

Hard to say but the explosion is way too violent for a Petrol induced BOOM

Feels more like a little a (Butan?) Gas explosion, as if a Gasbottle in the Van suddenly Burst'ed and got ignited by some sparks of whatever.

It's hard to say where the explosion came exactly from since the flash is from one frame to the other, but if you go trough the frames a bit further it dies down where this little Van in front of the Truck used to be


Also in the very last frame before the actual explosion one of the side windows of the mini-van seems to distort, bulking outwards. But the grainy video quality doesn't make it easier to be sure

KARACHI: CCTV footage shows the Karachi blast that took place on Monday evening in the city's Orangi Town number 5.

The blast resulted in the martyrdom of one Ranger official while 8 others, including two Ranger officials, were also injured in the blast. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

A Rangers vehicle can be seen in the CCTV footage, making its way down a busy street. As soon as it arrives near to a point where a few motorcycles are parked, an explosion occurs, severely damaging the vehicle.

According to the Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU), the blast was caused by 4-5kgs of explosive material installed on one of the motorcycles.

Five minutes before the blast took place, a masked man can be seen parking the motorcycle which seems to have exploded in the video.

A few among the eight injured in the blast suffered serious wounds. Rangers and police personnel had arrived shortly after the blast and cordoned off the area.
