Russia - Lawyer Stabbed to Death in the Road After Winning Court Case
On 17th March 2021 in Ufa (Russia), A.E. was stabbed to death. 'A', a lawyer, was in his car when a man stabbed him twice. The knifeman then pulled 'A' out of the car + carried on his attack. As 'A' lay dying, he named his killer as S.Y. The murder occurred as 'A' had won a court case that 'S' was a defendant in. 'S' did not agree with the court's decision (paying a debt of 30 million rubles from a 2017 loan), so killed 'A'. 'S' fled the scene + then tried to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head. He survived + was arrested.

Knowing Russia's traditional lack of justice, the lawyer might have been part of a bribery scheme to screw the guy that lost in court. I am a business owner and have been screwed in such a way by an unscrupulous USA lawyer / law firm working for a major Japanese corporation. They used the large corporation's influence as a customer to put pressure on a supplier's witness to change their story before a deposition. If I had nothing to loose and if I had any heart, I would have done something like this. As it is I don't care enough about the participants to go all Israeli (or Russian as the case may be).
