One Killed when a Car Crashes Into Wedding Procession
A baraat turned grim in the state of Uttar Pradesh after a car rammed into the procession and claimed the live of one and around a dozen people got injured. In the video of the incident, the bride can be seen dancing from the sunroof while she's surrounded by guests. A car, approaching from the opposite direction, rams into the baraat, injuring several people and claiming the life of one of the guests. In the video, one of the guests can be seen flying off with the speeding car. The incident took place on Tuesday night when the procession was passing from the highway. After being informed about the incident, the local police reached the area and sent the body of the deceased for a post-mortem. The deceased person was identified as P. The other injured guests were admitted to a private hospital in Nai Mandi area. The police registered a case of causing death due to rash and negligent driving. Further probe is underway. |

Simple is beautiful! The USA has its share of excessive weddings with bad taste, but India takes the global prize in this regard. Indian weddings seem like a celebration by the brides family because they are rid of her, an unwanted, worthless female offspring. |
