Officer on Patrol Crushed by Out of Control Car
An accident left a 22-year-old policeman dead in Adlersky City District of Sochi. According to police reports, a driver of a Ford Focus was speeding when a Taxi driver suddenly braked in front of him. Unable to avoid the collision, the Ford driver slammed into the cab car, sending it flying to the right side of the road. An officer on patrol who just happened to be standing there at the wrong time was violently crushed against the wall. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries. Both the cab and Ford Focus drivers were injured as well, with various bruises and fractures to their bodies. |
