This is exactly why gun control laws do not work. This guy was a convicted criminal, and still was able to obtain a gun. Meanwhile, the average citizen in Brazil is left defenseless because of their very strict gun laws. If the intended victim had not been a police officer, the incident would most likely not have ended the way it did. Bad guys would think twice if they thought there was a good chance their intended victim was armed. |
