I remember seeing this one a while ago, don't know if it was here or on YouTube though. The guy actually caught some shit for the 3 minute version of the video. People complained it was too grisly, but fuck that, people need to see this because those wildfires can really fuck you if you don't take them seriously enough and fail to act quickly.

The Camp fire in Northern California roared through the town of Paradise on Thursday, destroying nearly everything in its path and killing at least 42 people — in some cases, leaving behind only blackened fragments of skeletal remains. Heartbreaking footage has revealed the horrifying damage caused by wildfires which have ravaged California.

In a distressing video posted to social media, a tearful survivor recounts how he narrowly avoided death as the inferno engulfed homes in Paradise, Butte County.

The harrowing clip shows the cameraman upset at the thought of those who had tried to flee the fire but were not so lucky and lost their lives.

Nine people were found dead in and around the Northern California town of Paradise, where more than 6,700 homes and businesses were burned down by the 100,000-acre Camp Fire.

The unidentified man says he knew a number of people who had tried to escape the huge blaze, including a disabled man and his mother.

The clip was posted to social media by Matthew Strausbaugh who says he was given the video by his uncle.

The town's name seems a little ironic now.
