I find it hard to have sympathy over any of the Taliban videos. The US and their allies spent two decades over there trying to setup a puppet government that would conform to UN and other world gov regulations. The Afghans obviously weren't having it. It was a war of attrition and they held out longer, eventually putting the government they wanted back in power. The West wasted 20 years, thousands of young men's lives, and billions (probably trillions) of dollars over there, ultimately for nothing.

If it weren't for the West's involvement in Afghanistan I don't think most people would give two shits about them becoming (again) an Islam governed country. Where is all the uproar over Saudi Arabia? Just because they have lots of oil and an entrenched royal family, they are given a free pass on being a totalitarian Islamic dictatorship. Wassup with that?
