Reason for stop and reverse is likely driver missed his turn. Probably had his eyes glued on a cell phone gps as he was killing the motorcyclists.

Commercial trucks should only reverse under special and controlled conditions. One of my pet peeves is when commercial trucks drive like sports cars. There's no reason a truck can't go around a block to correct a missed turn, and avoid reverse entirely.

Everybody, the truck driver, the mom seem like idiots. Very similar to another accident on here, almost like random motion with the scooter idiotically tailing the truck.
