Re: Mexico - Skinning His Face
Somewhere near there, since it looked to be rather deep. And at that location, it's below the medulla, which as you stated is what controls the facial muscles. A person could in theory have closed their mouth and sinuses to trap the remaining air when they realized they've lost breathing control. I mean, it's kind of a long shot explanation, but he may have been losing consciousness and thus the remaining air was escaping, but when they flipped him over and started stepping on him, he might have roused enough to make his nonsensical statement about not stepping on his face with the last little bit of oxygen, because not long after that statement, his eyelids open to a dead stare. Frankly, not making any noises whatsoever or moving makes me think it's what happened, because any drug that'd stop his movement completely during that would have let him speak so clearly for that moment, he'd have been unconscious the whole time. Like I said, it's an absolute shot in the dark and also requires so many things to be perfectly aligned for such a thing, but what is the world if not full of coincidences. |
