From what I heard many of these guys literally volunteer to do this shit in the hopes to impress the higher ups in the cartel. My old neighbor's Brother is a former DEA agent and worked throughout his career in New Mexico/Arizona/Cali. He told me that most of the people that they would catch trying to import MASSIVE amounts of drugs, like in the tons, were innocent people who were forced by these cartels to do it under threat of death. Those death threats would include "the mule's" as they called them, family members as well. Not that anyone needs me to tell them the obvious but these cartels are fucking evil man, absolute fucking evil. |
