Here's my point: I don't see how people wanting to "close the border" can be the same as being racist. People see/hear about shit like this and so of course cutting off access seems like a great idea.

I'm not saying that 90% of ppl who chant "build the wall" aren't racists, or idiots for that matter... but they aren't mutually exclusive. They just don't want to see that shit here. And sometimes it does make its way into border towns.

In any case it doesn't matter bc as long as there is international trade there will be a way breach entrance points. It would never do any good.

Secondly, most of the people coming here are honest hard working people who are poor and willing to risk death just to send a couple hundred bucks back home every month until they can afford to bring the rest of their family over here and eventually become legitimate citizens. All by doing stuff nobody else is willing to do.

But the fear is more from the danger attached to the place itself, not necessarily the nationality or race of the general population there.

It's silly to think that the ever-increasing brutal attacks committed by the cartels-plus the level of corruption and infiltration of the government there has not had its intended effects on more than just their rivals.

Nobody, not even the US- want anything to do with those fucks.
