I tend to agree with you. Comfy 1st worlders don’t know other cultures, don’t know real pain. The guy took the pain, he didn’t want to show his suffering to his tormentors and the camera. Writhing and squealing like a bitch would be another win for his executioners.

I've mentioned this before, but in many of these torture / kill videos, the victim usually stops screaming or agonizing seconds after the attack begins. I believe this is because their body is being flooded by endorphins, the body's natural painkillers.

Either that, or maybe the mind and body just accept the inevitable and that triggers a switch of some kind. I'm not kidding; you can go through the archives and prove this phenomenon for yourself.
