You're wrong. The majority of Mexicans are corrupt to the bone. The cartels are a product of their culture, by and large, not an external enemy. As the western morality imposed upon the natives by the Spaniard and their priests fade, they return to the primitive, brutish behaviors of their Aztec ancestors.

Hmmm, I've been to Mexico like 5 or 6 times. Never noticed that. It appears, and by the opinion of many Mexican friends of mine. That the cartels are a product of a poor nation, and the cartels, much like the bootleggers in America, when America was a poor nation, have lots of money, which brings lots of power. And lots of violence.

The crime rate in America went up ×8 during that period. Murder was happening everywhere, small towns that rarely ever saw murder, had entire families killed.

That's what its like in Mexico. Like the prohibition days in America. And as long as semi tractor trailers full of cash are coming across that border. People are going to kill to control who gets it.

If they can't trust enough people, which seems to be a big problem. Possibly they could do like we did in Iraq. Create green zones of heavily guarded and patrolled areas with check points. And just build from there pushing the green zones further and further.

I don't really think they will ever do anything to knock the cartels out. But look at Columbia, that country was far worse than Mexico 20 years ago. They still have work to do, but they have cartels on their heels.

The only real solution is that the US demand for drugs vanished at some point in time, and the flow of illegal arms introduced to mexico stopped.

A.J.R.G., 30, and J.R.L., 29, friends since childhood, attended a soccer match this past Saturday night. After the game they both decided to leave and grab some food.

Thirty minutes late after leaving they were intercepted by elements of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP). Relatives of the men were notified by two unnamed persons of this happening.

The family members went to the local police station inquiring on why they were arrested as well as their whereabouts. In which they were told no one by those names were detained.

It is being alleged that the SSP handed the men over to the Los Zetas, as both men were drug dealers. Fast forward to August 27th, and this video appears on social media outlets of both being decapitated. The bodies are still yet to be found.
