It is the cylinder that holds the piston inside it. On this engine the cylinder is BLACK and HUGE! The cylinder protrudes and might be difficult to see approaching if you aren't familiar with a large steam locomotive. Exacerbating the problem is that women have been programmed to smile, open their mouths and take videos when presented with a HUGE BLACK CYLINDER.
