Merchant is Shot Three Times in the Head Inside Bar
A 55-year-old merchant from Italva, Rio de Janeiro state, was shot and killed around 8:15 PM this Friday (08/25) inside a bar in the Parque Industrial neighbourhood. According to security camera footage, it's possible to see a man wearing a helmet arrive and shoot the merchant three times in the head. There were few people in the establishment at the time of the crime. Firefighters and the police were called, but when they arrived at the scene, the victim was already deceased. The motive for the crime is still unknown. The merchant was identified as H.M., owner of an electronics shop. According to information gathered by the PM, the perpetrator fled on a Honda Titan 125cc motorcycle towards Itaperuna. Three pistol casings were collected during the investigation. |

Bars in general seem to be rather dangerous in Brazil. In Feira de Santana, Bahia state, a 28-year-old woman, P.d.S.P., was shot dead late this Thursday afternoon (24). According to police information, the woman was surprised by the shooter while she was inside her mother's bar. Bystanders did not want to provide information about the crime. The body had gunshot wounds on the chest, left hand, thighs, and buttocks. |

This looks like the same place we saw a few months back, where the one guy was executed, and his two buddies sat there, continuing to enjoy the libations.
