Sad situation. I agree that given the circumstances the shooting was justified, but to me it's clear the driver especially was woefully unaware or just in denial that they'd open fire on them, and there's no way to determine whether the passenger wanted any part of the situation (particularly the conclusion) at all. They lost their lives, and it was justified 100% for at least one of them, but when I see something like this with people so young and possibly under the influence of drugs its just so clear they were in over their heads and a bad situation spiraled out of control faster than they were capable of processing what the real consequences would be. RIP to them both.
