I said that exact phrase as he was readying himself.
But yeah, publicly is stupid

well, he was an old guy, and truth is, im' not just saying this for shock value:

I wish more old ass people would do this. When they get old and infirm, not only are they an economic burden on social security, but they drag their families down. Their sons and daughters want to have leftover money to raise their own sons and daughters, but it has to go to people who aren't even productive in the context of their own family. Like if you're old and wise and provide leadership and wisdom, then good, we need ya. but if you're old and your brain is falling , then all those resources means that one dollar spent on adult diapers is a dollar not spent on saving, investing, or kid's education.
For an old person to kill themselves, they may not have the strength to hoist themselves up a ledge, or hand tremors don't allow them to tie a hang knot. or the nerve to pull the trigger.
But this guy knew a buss crushing him would be instant and one way, i salute him. i'll shake his hand...of his mangled corpse. Yes it was yucky, but the city comes and power washes the street, the morgue has to fire up ol' smokey and cremate him,

but he is free from a life of incontinence, staring at stupid TV shows, physical pain, mental decline.
