Re: Man Shot by Immigration & Customs Enforcement in MN, Jan 24
It doesn’t matter that they operate in some cities in fine and others not so fine. Not every city or state is going to have people that value the same thing and I’m sure there are protests in Houston over ICE. It’s also fair to say that not all ICE officers are created the same and you can acknowledge ICE has good officers and acknowledge that ICE has bad officers that are there to get off on power trips and have been enabled by this administration to do so. Just remember that every abuse of power that is being supported or encouraged by this administration is writing a playbook for when the next liberal administration takes over. Next time there is a pandemic or maybe a law that requires the regulation of the 2nd Amendment to just shut up and comply when federal officers are telling you to do things.

Yes, absolutely it matters. Now the Signal scandal has come out where government officials are lending access to databases to help find ICE easier. To think otherwise means you're burying your head in the sand and ignoring a bigger picture. This type of behavior is literally not happening anywhere else.. and you don't think it matters to find out why? QUOTE=AnonX93;8639405] Remember that every abuse of power that is being supported or encouraged by this administration is writing a playbook for when the next liberal administration takes over.
That's what I appreciate about the Trump administration. He could easily pass laws like liberals do that would help now, but would bite us in the future. He could have killed the filibuster when the liberals shut down the government but knew it could be used against us later. |

I’ve seen the footage of him kicking the tail lights etc and imo this changes nothing about the wrongness of the shooting. It happened days prior, not on the day this happened, so is out of context. What we see from the day of the shooting all lines up to a disproportionate use of deadly force. In fact, this footage actually makes it worse - it implies they held a grudge

He could have killed the filibuster when the liberals shut down the government but knew it could be used against us later.
It’s well documented that ICE are being forced by the Trump admin to meet a quota for deportations. The reason places like Houston aren’t having problems is because Texas has more than enough people to be rightfully deported. Minnesota on the other hand does not have a major illegal immigration problem due to their proximity to the Southern Boarder. The response in Minnesota is overkill for what’s happening there leading to these massive clashes. In addition to that, it would not be surprising that policy for red states would be different than a blue state. You are missing the point, passing laws does not matter when you can manipulate the existing laws. Trump is creating a playbook that is being defended by boot licking conservatives and Republicans a like…just remember that Dems will have power again one day…just how politics works…imagine another vaccine mandate happens and they start arresting you in public places…remember you need to comply or die. The “don’t tread on me party” certainly loves being treaded on as of late. |

Re: Man Shot by Immigration & Customs Enforcement in MN, Jan 24
You're suggesting that protests are happening in Minnesota because there's "so few" illegals and such high quotas? That makes no sense, otherwise you'd see the same protests in other low illegal/high quota blue cities that are far from the border. I blame local officials for ramping up rhetoric and actively helping agitators. Instead of de-escalation, they push for this behavior. The Trump administration is using laws already on the books, abiding by crooked, biased courts. That's why I laugh when people call him a dictator, authoritarian. Yeah, a dictator is going to ignore the courts of the land and do whatever they want.. that's not what Donald Trump is doing. But yeah, I'm familiar with laws that manipulate our freedoms much like the 2A laws retarded liberals put in place. Sure, you can have a gun but then introduce laws that limit magazines, bullets, when and where you can have a gun despite the Second Amendment being crystal clear. |
