Drunk, yes. Probably filled himself with liquid courage to get the job done. There's no reason for him to stand up when he sees the truck coming, not that I can think of. I think he did it intentionally, AND drunkenly.

While I wouldn't quite use the same wording, I'm also really confused by the people who swear this is a suicide. The man is visibly drunk, and he is very clearly stumbling before he falls beneath the wheels. It's not a "stumbling towards one's intended destination" sort of thing - it's clearly a "lost control over use of legs, nearly tripping and trying to regain balance, before eventually falling in an awful, fatal location" situation. |

Definitely not fucking suicide like some people are saying. It's damn obvious he's plenty toasted out of his now totally exploded mind. Probably wasn't even 100% aware he was about to get his brains ejected.  |
