Re: Man Killed During Fight Over Mattress
A few more points please, Fordemups Now I grant you, Ed could have gotten that unhinged and bipolar because they allegedly pointed guns earlier—but to be honest here, would you rather be armed around somebody who behaves like that, or not? If Ed was that unstable and had no fear of people who are armed, right in front of his face, then who knows, he could've been liable to explode and go nuts, and commit great bodily harm or worse, over anything—at any moment. The issue here is not guns (aside from my previous comments)—it is untreated and unaddressed mental illness, which clearly was the case with Ed. Personally I would have retreated, keeping the weapons not pointed (like they did), but at-the-ready—and simply waited for the police to resolve the dispute. Or even better, I would not have come out at all, and simply called the police instead. By the way, what makes you think that Ed would have changed his demeanor when the police came, and wouldn't have acted the same or worse, even towards the cops? Then the cops would have shot him anyway, if they couldn't restrain or arrest him, and say he proceeded to attack them. This is all conjecture, and I'm not a mind reader or clairvoyant either... but I ask you this, in conclusion: Why do you disparage America? One other thing: Now I grant you, Ed could have gotten that unhinged and bipolar because they allegedly pointed guns earlier—but to be honest here, would you rather be armed around somebody who behaves like that, or not? This is all conjecture, and I'm not a mind reader or clairvoyant either, but I ask you this, in conclusion: Why do you disparage America? I'm sure you are aware of the decapitations and knife attacks/murders that occur in Europe at the hands of Islamists, right? Weren't those attacks "physical?" Don't you wish the victims were armed, and killed the terrorists/attackers instead? I'm tired of people disparaging the Second Amendment; it is there for good reason—precisely when things get physical. It is also meant as a deterrent. You remind me of Prince Harry, who said the first amendment is "bonkers." Where you're coming from, you get put in prison if you criticize certain disputed events from WWII. Now that's not much to do with freedom, or civilization, or legality—is there? As for us conservative Americans, my dear Sir, I think we'll keep our First and Second Amendments—thank you very much. The fact that they were fat, hillbillies or what-have-you, is absolutely inconsequential. So yes, *in America,* the Second Amendment *is* and *must always be*—sacrosanct and inviolable. Regards. |

Re: Man Killed During Fight Over Mattress
Fordemups Now, I would not necessarily disagree with your last post above, but you're forgetting that ad had a baseball bat and he was threatening to maim and kill—and as you can see, the police were taking their sweet time to come. So your sanitized narrative, as utopian as it is in its idealistic desirability—it really means shit in real-life scenarios—as I illustrated above. Please refrain from implying that I'm stupid if I disagree with you—lest I might be tempted to reach within my capacious basket of deplorable invectives, and catapult a cornucopia of warm faeces in your general direction, not far beyond the royal shrubbery. Best regards. |

Re: Man Killed During Fight Over Mattress
Please shut the fuck up. You’re talking to yourself and nobody gives a shit. Everyone involved in this incident are clearly white trash pieces of shit. I’m glad Ed is dead and his wife shares some responsibility for his death was well. I wouldn’t be pulling guns on anyone and I sure as fuck wouldn’t threaten people especially armed white trash waiting for the opportunity to kill someone. White trash pieces of shit. Stupid fucking white people. Let this thread die with Ed. |

Re: Man Killed During Fight Over Mattress
The "neck" becomes "red" because of a farmers tan caused by wearing a shirt while working in the sun. The father and son look like lazy sacks of shit to me so I'd say they're more "dumb hicks" than "rednecks." |
