Thanks for this. It made me rewatch the videos a few times. My later critiques are not at all against you.

The angle is odd but it looks like the killer cuts him somewhere along the thigh (~0:23) in. Killer even ducks down before making the fatal stab. The CPR video shows blood running from about mid thigh down but not higher up on the body. You can still tourniquet that high and tight.

If nothing else, pack the apparent wound. Immediate first aid is critical with such and the fact the bystanders took their sweet ass time moving tables and what have you just pisses me off. I know the shock of such tends to make people freeze but if they had enough presence of mind to move the table... try to stop the bleeding.

A video I watched by Prep Medic on YouTube said that someone can bleed out in two minutes so he advised that you time your runs to retrieve medical gear from the likes of vehicles, and what have you. This made me redo how and where I store trauma medical supplies given that very small window and the inevitable delays in rendering aid that should be baked in.

I know I'm on this site but such videos are a harsh reminder of the good people can do with not that much comparative preparation: make the choice to help in certain circumstances; train (there are free options out there); buy legit gear (not from Amazon); and refresh those hands on skills. It's not that much to ask in the grand scheme of things and makes you invaluable in nearly any circumstance where someone is bludgeoned, stabbed, shot, cut, etc.

Either its pure fluke or the stabber exactly knew where to hit.. almost done with perfection & probably mastered it by killing many people before.. the old guy doesn't even realize until someone points out to him.

Also dumb is the guy trying to resuscitate him when there's 3 ltrs of blood on the road & another couple soaked in his pants. I'm told humans have about 5 ltrs in all. His vains were dry empty

The guy who stabbed him knew exactly where to hit. It was a femoral hit and it took 26 seconds from stab to passing out. I used to work in a morgue, embalming people, and where he stabbed is pretty much exactly where I would insert the needle to inject the pickling juice. Inside thigh, about 4-5 inches down from the crotch.

He was unconscious in less than a minute…. I think he was a dead man the second that knife cut his artery.
