Hmm, I don't think so. If they didn't all join in maybe the poor bugger could have escaped! But messed up it certainly is. Guess he must have done something heinous & was caught in the act because I'm sure they wouldn't dole out such a brutal punishment if there were the slightest chance he was innocent... would they?
